Adoption Certificate and American Consulate Appointment
It is now Thursday, November 20. This morning at 10:00 we will receive Clare's Adoption Certificate; then, at 3:00 p.m. we will all go to the American Consulate to receive Clare's visa and have a swearing in ceremony. We will try to post more pictures as the day goes along. Tonight we pack and get ready to come home. We've had a wonderful time, but it is time to get home and begin our real life with Clare. We will not stop the blog once we get home. It is our intention to keep it updated as things and events happen. We invite you to continue checking our blog in the weeks and months ahead. For those of you who have followed our journey to China, we thank you for your interest in our precious little girl. Stay tuned -- there will be much more. God bless you all. Jim, Brycie and Clare.

The "Red Couch"
White Swan Hotel specializes in keeping adoption families. It is a White Swan tradition to line up all the babies and children in each group of families and take a group picture on the "red couch." What a time we had this morning trying to line up ten children on the couch. Taint easy folks! The top photo is as good as it gets. Now we are part of the White Swan and Great Wall tradition.
